"Theresa Lloyd provided us with the most comprehensive and constructive analysis of the fundraising prospects for St Paul's Cathedral. This study, focussing on a Cathedral operating at the heart of the City of London, was very useful at the time and continues to be invaluable to us today".
Sir Roger Gibbs - Chairman, St Paul's Cathedral Foundation

"Theresa Lloyd has helped with the recruitment of the Director of Development with several organisations with which I have been involved, including Sadler's Wells, the Royal College of Art and Dulwich College. She helped define the role, responsibilities and personal qualities, and while not being a head-hunter herself guided us to possible candidates. She advised on the design and content of the interviews and was a member of the selection panel. She was sensitive to the internal culture of the organisation in each case and recognises that chemistry and fitting into a team are as important as skills and experience. We have always been delighted with our choices, and I would certainly engage her again".
Ian Hay Davison CBE. Former Chairman of Sadler's Wells, Chairman of the Royal College of Art, and former President of the Alleyn Club (Dulwich Old Boys)

"Theresa has played a critical role in the creation of Handel House. She was part of the Handel House project team from the early days when the creation of a museum in the house in which Handel lived was still a dream. She worked with the trustees and, once the project got under way, with the director. She brought great value not only in setting up a development strategy and in implementing that strategy but also through her input into the broader vision for the house. We are delighted that the house is now such a successful jewel in London's musical and cultural scene, that Theresa has been part of that success and that her involvement with Handel House continues after her professional relationship came to an end".
Christopher Purvis, chair of the Handel House Trust

"When I was Chief Executive of the British Lung Foundation, Theresa helped us planning and facilitating a Trustees and Staff Strategy Awayday, at a critical moment in the life of the charity. Her ability to get quickly in touch with the real issues, her sensitive handling of some strong personalities, and her clear exposition of outcomes made it a successful event. I was so impressed that when I moved on to BLISS, the premature baby charity, I called her in to do the same thing again. She helped us to clarify the direction and speed of the charity. There are a number of people claiming to be facilitators - Theresa is better than all of them!"

"Theresa became involved with the Wordsworth Trust at a crucial moment in our history. Her strategic and operational advice on a range of issues - from fundraising to corporate governance - has been invaluable. As a result, we have a much stronger organisational structure and clear direction for future development".
Michael McGregor, Director of Development, the Wordsworth Trust

"Theresa came to help us drive forward an emergent mid and high level donor giving programme.  Every charity thinks it is different, but The National Trust certainly feels it has a separate identity and personality.  Theresa worked with the team, endorsing and supporting them, and giving confidence to what they were already doing.  But crucially, she also inspired them to reach higher and aim for a much more stretching programme.  There were cautions within the Fundraising Department and beyond it, but Theresa sensed this and worked well with the colleagues who were involved at the fringes.  And then when our Head of Major Gifts left, Theresa steered me through the decisions and interim steps until I could secure a replacement.  Because of the high regard with which we hold Theresa, and her detailed knowledge and understanding of our work, I have asked her to work with the new Head of Major Gifts and I can already see that emerging as a productive relationship."
Gill Raikes, Director of Fundraising at The National Trust

"Theresa Lloyd was engaged by a group of Jewish Culture providers to investigate the question of increased funding for Jewish Culture. The project involved mapping of existing resources as well as a series of confidential interviews with a variety of donors in the sector. Working with two excellent associates, she and her team showed a complete grasp of the brief and dealt expertly with both the providers and potential funding sources. Theresa Lloyd and her team presented (both in person and in a clear document) an extremely helpful report. This project was delivered within the timescale envisaged and the budget assigned and their professionalism and competence made them a pleasure to work with."

"I was delighted when Theresa kindly agreed to take part in a podcast on finding and cultivating major donors, part of the course materials for B625 Winning Resources and Support, the distance learning route to the Institute of Fundraising’s Certificate in Fundraising Management. I can’t think of anyone better qualified to talk about this subject. Theresa’s understanding and insight, gained from her ground-breaking research and professional experience, is second to none. I should also add that she was a real pleasure to work with, and the resulting podcast is a terrific resource for our fundraising students."
